Confirmed topic and gameplay



Title
Veggie Sentai (Sentai means ranger in Japanese)

Abstract
Player need to use the power which given by the veggie warrior to defeat the gems/illness by using specific power on specific enemy

Target Audience
7 and above

Goal
1.    To educate children on benefit of consuming vegetables through puzzle solving and quest which children need to learn that what kind of vegetable contain the nutrition that can defeat certain gems/illness such as flu, diarrhea 

Objectives
-       To learn the knowledge of nutrition through pop up information and image based explanation info.
-       To educate children on the correct knowledge of nutrition in more simple explanation and willing to consume more veggie as reduce picky eater.

Description
At title page, as typical game there will be start game button, instruction and option button available

There will be 3 stage, and player need to gather the power from the veggie sentai member according the boss and the minions (gems) as they only can be defeat by acquire specific power.

First stage will be flu gems as player need to gather vitamin C power from one of the veggie member as player need to find out the veggie member which contain vitamin C power.

Example: (Broccoli contain rich vitamin C than orange.)

Second Stage will be disease which need more than one kind of nutrition as player need to acquire more power to defeat the boss and his minion.

Same as third stage. All of the stage have tips and information before game start to tell player which veggie member he need to find as player need to pick the accurate one while they able to read the ability of each veggie member hiding in the map while talk with them, and player need to pick and acquire the power only able to damage the minion and boss of each stage.

Revised Proposal

After consult, I decide to take game type as my FYP application.
Below is revised proposal before next consult.



Title
Nutrition Counter

Abstract
Player need to solve the problem on choosing the right food in a small grocery under guidance of parent with limited quota, to educate them the importance of nutrition through the application

Target Audience
5 and above

Goal
1.    To educate children on choosing proper food through the application as nutrition is always important to human body especially children which affect a lot on their growing stage.
2.    Children can learn how to choose their food properly to make sure themselves know the importance of taking healthy food to grow healthy.
3.    Through VR enhancement children can experience the realism on handling the item through drag and drop.


Objectives
-       To immerse user through suitable look and feel based on user range of age
-       To learn the knowledge of nutrition through pop up information and image based explanation info.
-       To allow user access through application at home without going to the actual places.
-       To understand the importance of nutrition through the guidance of the professional knowledge and learn together with parent.

Description
There is title page which stated that an simple introduction of the application after click the start game button. First stage will be in a supermarket which allow user to choose the food and raw material they want in limited amount of choice. It also will have pop up information while user select the food which let the user learn about the item at the same time. And there will be a result calculation based on what kind of food user choose after choose the food and walk to certain area to choose to end the level which proceed to the result page.

In 2nd stage, there will be also more obstacle and also lifepoint limited.
More food choice and the stage will change from supermarket to grocery to enhance the difficulties.

3rd stage the scene will change into kitchen in the house and also user need to careful to take in same time prevent accidently drop something which might hurt yourself as also can learn household safety in the same time.

Initial Proposal- Game Type



Title
Slime Attack

Abstract
Help the client to clean up bunch of slime which invading the farm and avoid stick by them in the same time.

Target Audience
Teenagers that like to play action game and like fantasy styled theme

Goal
To complete the mission from the client as the main character are bounty hunter which survive by taking job offer from the other.

Objectives
-          To immersive user through 3D environment
-          To learn how to work out and respond to stronger enemy according to the level and difficulties
-          To let user experience how it actual as certain character in fantasy world through realistic experience by using oculus rift/kinect.

Descriptions
At the beginning of the game after access the start game button from the title page.
Player which as bounty hunter will appear at the village and require to talk to the client which assign player to clean up the farm which invaded by slime by walk to the announcement board, take the bounty and walk to the counter. Fail to do the steps correctly will not able to proceed to next scene.
After that will be able to access next stage as in the farm scene. Player need to avoid the slime as the slime will stick on the player which slows player movement and it will split into more slime. Clean up before the slime amount is overwhelmed.
According to the next stage, player even need to avoid step on the crops while chasing off the slime. And sometime will appear bonus on speed boosting and other to help the player which last for certain time only.
